OPERATION BLESSING
Clean Water for Peru
Through our partnership with Operation Blessing, the Kim Usery Foundation is honored to support a sustainable, robust drinking water system in Llinquipata, Peru. This clean water system provided a piping system to reach an underground water source, an elevated water storage tank, and filtration system. Thanks to the work of Operation Blessing, 55 people in 20 households now have clean water in their homes through a water tap and individual hygiene stations, including an indoor biodigester toilet, private shower and sink.

Empowering the Community
In addition to the clean water system, the workers with Operation Blessing also provided crucial training for community members to ensure the system is maintained well into the future. This education included not only instructions on how to operate the water system, but also health-focused topics on hygiene and proper water sanitation practices.
What’s more, the people of Llinquipata also received Spanish Bibles to share the love and good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.
